Situated in the midst of the great Bordeaux wine area and bordered by vines, the Cottage is part of a small hilltop hamlet of five houses approached by a steep winding lane only used by the residents and as a “right of way” for the owner of the vines.
The Cottage was originally part of an old farm complex with stone work that is typical of the region. The accommodation is on one level and has many interesting features with exposed stone walls and beams. It has been renovated to a high standard and consists of an entrance hall, modern Shower Room/Toilet plus a large Bedroom, and a large Kitchen/Living room. It is a comfortable and quiet place to spend some time.
To the front is a large garden for sunbathing and relaxing. To the rear is an elevated terrace after which the land falls steeply away with views across the valley from the terrace.
The owners live next door and the cottage shares their unheated swimming pool, (12 metres x 6 m or 40ft x 20ft), and extensive gardens.
Parking is available next to the Cottage.
